How We Got Over a 24 Hour Intestinal Virus In Half The Time

A couple weeks ago now we had our grandsons over for the weekend. On Saturday evening, Noah said he was feeling a little nauseated, and very soon started vomiting. I applied peppermint essential oil on the bottoms of his feet and a couple drops of Di-Gize over his belly. This made him feel better, but he still had a couple more times of vomiting in the middle of the night. After each time of vomiting, I again applied the oils.

The next day he seemed fine, but I kept applying the essential oils anyway to make sure the body got rid of that virus. When you are young, Noah is only 7 years old, you recover more quickly and sometimes they don't get as sick in the first place.

Ok, so here comes Monday and I am thinking my husband and I are in the clear, especially since we have not had anything like this for years. Most of the day is fine, but in the late afternoon, I started feeling just a little nauseated. At first, I didn't think anything of it because it was so faint. But it rapidly progressed to the full blown intestinal virus, complete with ALL the symptoms if you get my drift.

So, here comes my husband Steve from work and he is not home even an hour and guess what?? Yes, he starts with this intestinal virus too! Wow! Now we are both sick at the same time. Could life get any better at that moment? LOL

So this is what we did…

I started with putting 2 drops of Thieves and one drop of peppermint on the bottoms of my feet after each trip to the bathroom. Plus, I put Di-Gize all over my stomach. Now granted, I DID NOT feel like doing this, I was so sick. But, I forced myself to do it, because I knew I would get over it faster!

After about 5 hours, I started to get very, very dehydrated. Most of the time just water will not stay down, so I sipped Ningxia Red diluted with water. Dehydration can become a severe side-effect of intestinal viruses and cause complications like weakness, dizziness and even shock.

After applying the Young Living Oils for a couple hours, I decided to switch the oils I was using on my abdomen and stomach. Instead of using Di-Gize, I thought to use Frankincense and Copaiba. Again I dripped several drops of each over that area after each time to the bathroom. Immediately, after starting the Frankincense and Copaiba, I started getting better faster. I actually had pain in the stomach too, which Steve and Noah did not have. That is one reason I decided to change the oils I was using. By the way, these oils are what Steve used as well.

So the symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting lasted about 12 hours. This intestinal virus was flying around, so I heard and the actual symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea was lasting at least 24 hours. Not only that, but it was taking people a week to fully recover from the weakened state it left them in. Because of these oils we got over this virus in half the time! It did take us a day or so more to fully re-gain our energy. But that's nothing compared to a week.

Why did these essential oils work so well?

First, these are not just any essential oils. These oils are produced organically from seed to seal. They contain ALL the constituents found naturally in plants, trees, scrubs, etc. That makes them highly antiviral and anti-bacterial. They are potent, complex substances with acute sensitivity for unwanted microbes in the body. Antibiotics and other traditional forms of treatment have been helpless against viruses.

Our Intestinal Virus Arsenal…

These are not the only Young Living Essential Oils that can be used for this kind of problem. These are just what we used.

Thieves:

A blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-infectious essential oils, including clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus and rosemary. Thieves in the 15th century rubbed oils on their bodies before robbing the dead and dying to avoid contracting the plague. When caught, they gave the formula of herbs, spices and oils they used to protect themselves in exchange for lighter punishment. Thus the name "Thieves."

Peppermint:

Has a strong, clean, fresh aroma. This is another universal oil that can be used for almost anything. It has long been used for supporting the digestion. It can be used for sinus problems, headaches, acid reflux and any respiratory problems among other things. I personally like putting a drop in my water to give it flavor.

Di-Gize:

This is a blend containing tarragon, ginger, juniper, anise, fennel, patchouli, peppermint and lemongrass. It relieves digestive problems including indigestion, heartburn and bloating. Combats candida and parasite infections.

Frankincense:

This is absolutely one of my favorite oils. According to Egyptian hieroglyphics, frankincense was good for "everything from gout to a broken head." It can be used for such things as depression, respiratory infections, inflammation and to boost the immunity. And actually I have used it for almost everything and it worked great.

Copaiba:

This essential oil has been used in South America for the treatment of a variety of ailments, including skin irritations and skin infections, bronchitis and sinusitis, bladder and kidney infections, stomach ulcers and more. Adding Copaiba to any other essential oil will enhance the effects of that oil.
